Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") is issued by Nousattva Pty Ltd ("Nousattva", "we", "us", or "our"), an Australian proprietary limited company operating the ResQBox Food platform ("Platform"). This Policy outlines the standards of conduct expected from all users of the Platform, including Consumers and Vendors, and sets forth prohibited activities and enforcement mechanisms.
1. Scope
1.1 This Policy applies to all individuals and entities accessing or using the Platform.
1.2 By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to the applicable Consumer and Vendor Terms and Conditions.
2. General Conduct
2.1 Users must use the Platform in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner.
2.2 Users must not engage in any activity that:
- Violates any applicable laws, regulations, or industry standards;
- Harms, threatens, or abuses other users or third parties;
- Disrupts or interferes with the operation, security, or integrity of the Platform.
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform:
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or order placement;
- Listing food that is unsafe, expired, or non-compliant with food safety regulations;
- Circumventing Platform processes, including payment, cancellation, or refund systems;
- Harassing, threatening, or impersonating other users or Nousattva personnel;
- Accessing or attempting to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization;
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to manipulate Platform functionality;
- Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code;
- Misusing Consumer data or contacting Consumers outside the Platform for commercial purposes;
- Posting or sharing offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content;
- Engaging in any activity that Nousattva reasonably determines to be abusive, unethical, or harmful to the Platform or its users.
4. Vendor-Specific Restrictions
4.1 Vendors must not:
- List food that does not meet the definition of Surplus Food unless otherwise approved by Nousattva;
- Cancel orders without valid reason or repeated late cancellations;
- Fail to update order status accurately and promptly;
- Use the Platform to promote unrelated products or services;
- Share login credentials or allow unauthorized access to their account.
5. Enforcement
5.1 Nousattva reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this Policy.
5.2 If Nousattva determines that a user has violated this Policy, it may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning or request corrective action;
- Suspend or deactivate the user's account;
- Remove or modify listings or content;
- Withhold payments or impose penalties;
- Report the matter to relevant authorities or regulators.
5.3 Nousattva's decision regarding enforcement is final and not subject to appeal.
6. Reporting Violations
6.1 Users may report suspected violations of this Policy by contacting Nousattva through the Platform or via the contact details provided in Clause 7.
6.2 Nousattva will review all reports in good faith and take appropriate action where warranted.
